What is the service?
Emma's Angels is a full day care nursery, before and after school club and holiday playscheme. We operate in the grounds of St Peters Primary School, Rawdon. We are open 51 weeks of the year, except Christmas and bank holidays. We are open from 7.30am - 6pm, Monday to Friday.
Who is the service for?
We cater for all children aged from 3 months right through to 14 years old. The nursery accommodates children in 3 rooms. Our baby room, toddler room and pre-school room. The before and after school club and holiday play scheme caters for children, school age through to the age of 14.
How can I get the service?
Parents/carers or other professionals can enquire about the service directly. Once an enquiry is made we can then begin the registering process, which may include home visits and visits into the setting to assess children's needs and requirements. There is an annual registration fee payable per family.
How accessible is the service?
Emma's Angels is fully inclusive and accommodates most children, as long as we can support the child and the family fully.
We have a ramp and disabled toilet and changing facilities. We will try and accommodate any child and would access further training where needed, recruit specialist staff or change and adapt some of our practises in order to be fully inclusive. Currently our nursery outside area has 2 steps in order to access it, but we would alter this should we have a child who required a ramp. Our building in both the nursery cabin and out of school cabin is on one level so it accessible.
We have two dedicated SENCO's, within the setting.
